Employer services
Start with Onboarding when an employer wants to support a selected graduate after the hiring decision. Effective onboarding matters, but if the employer wants to begin one step earlier, Finalist Assessment adds structured evidence for comparing the final candidates.
Graduates may have completed internships or gained some relevant experience, but that experience is often too limited and inconsistent to provide a sufficient basis for comparison. Structured psychometric assessment adds role-relevant evidence about cognitive abilities, work motivation and personal characteristics.
Schmidt and Hunter (1998) found general mental ability especially useful for predicting job performance and job-related learning when candidates have no previous experience in the role. Source
Employer need: For employers that have already selected a graduate or new employee and want to give them a more focused start in the role.
Included: The required HRP assessment, unless suitable recent results are already available, onboarding reports, professional review, and a dedicated onboarding discussion focused on priorities for the employee’s first months in the role.
How it helps: Most useful when the employer wants clearer role expectations, focused early manager conversations, and more structured support after selection.
Boundary or continuation: HRP helps managers begin with clearer individual priorities, practical conversation themes and relevant support actions instead of giving every new hire the same generic start.
Employer need: For employers that want structured, role-relevant evidence when comparing the final candidates.
Included: Assessment of the finalists, role-relevant selection reports, professional review, and a decision-support discussion.
How it helps: Most useful when interviews, internships, or other indicators still leave meaningful differences unresolved.
Boundary or continuation: The same assessment also provides the onboarding reports for the selected candidate. No additional assessment is required, but this package does not include the professional onboarding review or the dedicated onboarding discussion.
Employer need: For employers that want continuity from the final hiring decision into the selected candidate’s first months in the role.
Included: Finalist assessment and selection reports, professional review and decision-support discussion, onboarding reports for the selected candidate, professional onboarding review, and a dedicated onboarding discussion.
How it helps: Most useful when the employer wants one structured service across finalist comparison and the selected graduate’s transition into role.
Boundary or continuation: The selected candidate is not assessed again. The same assessment foundation supports both stages.
